SUSTAINABILITY REPORT 2021
This Integrated Report examines the ways in which MedTug works to create value over time, providing a picture of the strategies, objectives and performances related to the organization’s ability to create value.
The time frame considered for MedTug Group aggregated data (the holding – MedTug S.p.A. – and its Italian/foreign subsidiaries hereinafter referred to as “MedTug” or “The Group”) and other reporting issues is 2019-2021.
In this first edition it has been reported significant activities for 2021 which, however, are not part of the drafted sustainability plan starting from 2022 with a three years time window.
MEDTUG'S COMMITMENT TO SAFEGUARD THE OCEAN
In 2024, MedTug is once again participating in the project led by Ogyre, supporting fishing communities in Italy, Brazil, and Indonesia to collect marine litter. We are proud to renew our partnership, during which MedTug will help remove 2,000 kg of waste from the oceans.
The sea is fundamental to our operations, serving as our most essential infrastructure. Our dedication to protecting marine biodiversity and supporting local fishing communities has raised awareness and made a tangible impact on preserving marine ecosystems.
