Notwithstanding the huge investment in two last generation tug (for a total of more than 12 milions euro) that will allow the mega container ship to maneuver inside the narrow berth in the commercial harbor of Genoa, the renewal of the tariff will see a reduction of 1,75%.
«Thanks to this optimization of the tug service in Genoa – admiral Pettorino, Genoa Harbour Master, said – it was possible to guarantee at the same time an increase in safety standard for the harbour navigation and an increase in the quality of the same harbour service».
