Three months later the naming ceremony of tug Germania a new tug has been delivered by Damen to Messrs Rimorchiatori Riuniti Porto di Genova Srl.
On 06th July 2017 We held in Genova the Naming Ceremony of the ASD (Azimuth Stern Drive) tug named “ Danimarca”, sister tug of Germania.
This tug as the previous one is equipped by two Caterpillar main engines giving a total power of 6.870 BHP able to generate a BP of 83 t ahead. Being 29,10m long and 13,23 wide the tug can host 10 people on board including crew in 6 comfortable cabins all fully air conditioned.
The tug is equipped with two set of winches, one set forward with two drums having a capacity of 150 m of synthetic rope with dia 96 mm and one set aft with one drum equipped with a steel wire of 850 m with a dia of 54 mm.
Danimarca is also equipped with FIFI system Class 1 and Rec oil notation.
